| Synopsis | The nazi forces arrive in cold winter. In the village remain only he women. They put up resistance until the wounded partisans, sheltered in the village homes, can withdraw to more remote areas, and the snow covers their traces. Face to face with the Germans and under their very eyes, the village women, leaded by aunts Shano and Mara set off together to collect firewood, an excuse they produce to take food to the partisans. |
