Title The Last Winter
Synopsis Nazi forces arrive in the harsh winter. Only the women remain in the village. They put up resistance until the wounded partisans, sheltered in village homes, can withdraw to more remote areas, while the snow covers their tracks. Face to face with the Germans and under their watchful eyes, the village women, led by aunts Shano and Mara, set out together to gather firewood—an excuse that allows them to bring food and warm clothes to the partisans.
