| Synopsis | The film begins with shots of mist-covered mountains. A beautiful valley is seen. On May 27, 1968, Enver Hoxha visits Mirditë. His car, accompanied by Pjetër Froku, arrives in the Mirditë region, in Rubik. Enver is welcomed by local authorities. Residents have come out to greet him. Pioneers present bouquets of flowers. Visit to the copper enrichment plant in Rubik. Enver speaks with two workers. Enver Hoxha arrives in Rrëshen. He meets the wife of Bardhok Biba and visits their home. He embraces Maria, Bardhok Biba’s daughter. Deeply moved, Enver looks at a photograph she had given him, where she appears with him as a child. Enver gives her his first work. He visits the home of the martyr Preng Pal Cara. Enver Hoxha lays wreaths at the graves of Bardhok Biba and Pal Melyshi, and places flowers at the grave of Ndrec Ndue Gjoka. He visits the memorial room of Ndrec Ndue Gjoka and writes in the guestbook. A beautiful panorama of a mountainous road follows. Enver Hoxha pays homage at the graves of the two heroine sisters Marta and Prenda Tarazhi. Kurbnesh is seen. The copper enrichment plant appears again. He meets with the Party leadership of Mirditë. He visits the copper plant. Festive dances. Reception and discussions. Enver Hoxha speaks. A large crowd gathers. He meets the mother of the heroine Shkurte Cara. During the trip, Enver visits the cooperative worker Dedë Mark Prenga in the village of Perlat. He speaks at the agricultural cooperative of Perlat. A large rally is held in Rrëshen, opened by the First Secretary of the Party of Mirditë, Hysen Avdyli. |
