| Title | We fell in love in Albania |
| Synopsis | Three Soviet painters came to Albania to paint our nature and people. Juri Vajmer, painting Tirana in the morning at one of the balconies of a recent building in Tirana. Igori Hanxhajan painting the city centre from a balcony on “Stalin” boulevard. The painter Evgeni Zajcev painting a panorama. Petrele Castle, panorama of Dhermiu, etc. The snowy mountains with clouds, the Mati and Sazani hydropower plants. An exhibition was opened at the friendship room with Soviet Union with the work of these painters during their 2-month stay in Albania. Paintings by Evgeni Zajcev such as: “Ullishta”; the Juri Vajmer’s paintings : “Hills of Tirana”, “Ura e Meset”, “Old Church of Berat”, “Evening in Gjirokaster” are exhibited at the hall. Igori Hanxhijan’s paintings are: “Construction of a canal near Berat”, “Kyrekytet Square”, “Buna” of Shkodra where Rozafa’s castle can be seen. |
