Synopsis | During a battle, one of the partisans was killed and his comrades bury him. The mother comes to the grave with his pregnant daughter-in-law. Months pass. The bride gives birth to a son. During the agrarian reform, the land where his grave is located is given to the family of the slain partisan. Tillage begins. The boy, who is several years old, works together with his mother and grandmother. Time passes, the village is organized into cooperatives, the villagers build the tombstone of the murdered partisan. Years pass, saboteurs run near the tombstone and are caught by the defense forces. Spring is coming, flowers are blooming everywhere. The 60s. Divergences of B.S. Organized training of the village volunteer group. Young people on the march. The boy has now become the co-op manager. The cooperativists build a large tombstone in the place of the small tombstone dedicated to the martyrs of the village. The son of the murdered partisan gets married and the whole village takes part in his wedding. The land around the tombstone is worked with tractors and the kindergarten children put flowers on the partisan’s grave and take seeds from the flowers that were planted on it. The film is constructed with staging as a feature film. |
