Synopsis | A hygienic-sanitary exhibition. A beautiful sunrise in Malin e Thate over the lake of Big Prespa. The lake and the boats full of fishermen. There are 9 villages, their beautiful panoramas, mountain- lake-home. Recently constructed houses, comparing those of the past. Children in day-care. Cooperative members going to work. Tobacco plots, plots with greens. Fishing boat. Girls rowing boats cut reeds. Cooperative members cutting tiles. The newly built houses have occupied 70 percent of the buildings. An old hut and new buildings around it. Electrical installations are made in the village. Villagers are taken out of their homes with the call of the Party. New cattle stables. A ground floor room of an old house, where people lived together with livestock. The stables built in Ceria and Gallaubec take the initiative further, people built modern cattle stables. An ambulance, a mother’s and child’s home and a hospital have been set up. A school where the teacher checks the students’ hygiene. Different branches of handicrafts. Bakery, dairy, clothing. Boat excursion. A solid island in the middle of the lake. National dance. Old people talking about the bitter past. The boats return to the base. The film is dedicated to the hygienic-sanitary life in the villages of the Pusteci of Korca district. |
