| Description | Peking duck breeding centre. To supply the population with meat and eggs, the employees of the Trading Company set up a centre for the breeding of Peking ducks. Good conditions have been created for the birds for normal growth. Care is taken to maintain a rational food regime and temperature. Veterinary specialists also work here, who follow the development of birds at different ages with interest. A pond has been erected for the ducks to swim. After feeding, they are released for swimming. To get to know the advanced experience of the breeders of this centre, the employees, and managers of the agricultural enterprises of the collection come there. A special care is shown for the rearing of the birds according to the shifts. The employees of the subsidiary economy of the enterprise of supplying the workers of Krraba with very little expenses set up in Berzhita the station for raising ducks. The Berzhita station is visited with great interest by cooperative villagers from the district of Tirana. |
