You can see the view of Tirana and the people in motion. The state ballet dances through the streets of the city. In the stands Enver Hoxha, Mehmet Shehu. Pilo Peristeri speaks, assisted by Beqir Balluku. The parade of female workers begins with the slogan “Proletarians of all countries unite” and with the Albanian and Soviet flags. Rita Marko assists, miners, children, and construction workers pass by. Jet planes fly in the sky. The state choir, ballet, and theatre parade, and finally the residents of the neighbourhoods. On the evening of May 1, there is a dance in the capital’s square. |
