| Description | The Albanian delegation of China-Albania friendship visits the People’s Republic of China. On November 23, the delegation of the China-Albania Friendship Society headed by Peti Shamblli, Minister of Agriculture arrived in Beijing. The delegation is expected by Sheng Nan Hsian, candidate of the Chinese Party Central Committee and president of the China-Albania association, by Lao Lu Jan, minister of agriculture, and by Shiono Ce Hsiang, vice president of the Chinese commission for relations with the outside world. The people welcomed the delegation with indescribable enthusiasm. The Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Zhou Enlai, received the members of our delegation. Zhou Enlai and Peti Shamblli are spoken here. A warm welcome was given to our delegation by the president of the People’s Republic of China, Liu Shao. A photography and handicraft exhibition were organized in Beijing. Deputy Prime Minister Cen Ji is also present at the inauguration of the exhibition. The Chinese artists had a meeting with the playwright Suleyman Pitarka. Albanian films “Tana”, “Debatik” were shown in Beijing cinemas and the drama “Fisherman’s Family” was shown by the Chinese theatre. Our delegation visits the Agricultural University of Beijing, the agricultural exhibition and on November 29 they visited the Albanian-Chinese Friendship People’s Municipality where the 50th anniversary of Albania’s independence and the 18th anniversary of liberation were celebrated. On this occasion, the Mayor Li Shun Pu, who has visited Albania, spoke. The artistic group of the Municipality gave a performance. On the holidays of November 28-29, rallies were organized in China. A rally was held at the Shinjitai Locomotive Plant, where the Secretary of the Plant Party, Vu Veng Penki, spoke. Cen Ji, a member of the political bureau of the Chinese Communist Party, Shuang Wen Sian and Peti Shamblli spoke at a rally of the people of Beijing. The welcome that the great Mao Zedong gave to the Albanian delegation will remain unforgettable. |
