Description | Friends from Liberal Ghana. Ark, the capital of Ghana. 4 years ago, independence was declared here and a year ago Ghana was declared a Republic. On August 11, the Ghanaian delegation headed by President Kwame Nkrumah came to our country. At the airport, the delegation is welcomed by Party and state leaders and diplomatic representatives. Welcome to the chairman of the Presidium of the People’s Assembly Haxhi Lleshi and Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. On the same day, Haxhi Lleshi and Mehmet Shehu met Kwame Nkrumah at the headquarters of the People’s Assembly. Then friends go to the Prime Minister where talks will be held with our delegation. The Ghanaian friends went to the martyrs’ cemetery where a wreath was placed, then to the National Liberation War Museum, where they learned about the heroic past of our people. They visited the textile factory “Stalin”, and a meeting was organized in the yard of the factory where Haxhi Lleshi and Kwame Nkrumah spoke. On August 12, the joint communiqué was signed by Haxhi Lleshi and Kwame Nkrumah in the palace of the brigades. The communication reflects the desire of both parties to further develop friendship and cooperation between the two peoples and maintain peace. That same day, friends left our country. (257.70m) |
