| Description | Happy New Year 1958. At the telegraph post, people send congratulatory telegrams. The telegraph hall is visible. Letters and postcards spill over the table. The postcards are distributed along the street. A postman delivers a postcard to a family. Children’s toys in the toy store, women with children in their arms buy toys. They also buy food in the grocery store. In the oil city, the workers wait for the Soviet specialists and spend the New Year’s Eve together. The Palace of Pioneers as a gift from the Central Committee of the Albanian Labour Party. On the inauguration of the palace comes Enver Hoxha, Liri Belishova. Todi Lubonja takes the opportunity to speak. On this occasion, the pioneers give an acrobatics program. A small acrobat placed in the acrobatics box. Pioneers dance around the New Year tree.
