| Synopsis | A Czechoslovak delegation headed by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Viliam Shiroki arrived in our country on June 24, 1958. The leaders of the Party and the State and the people of the capital went to the airport to welcome the delegation. Comrades Enver Hoxha, Gogo Nushi, Mehmet Shehu, Ramiz Alia, Haki Toska, Hysni Kapo, Beqir Balluku, Koco Theodhosi and Spiro Koleka warmly hugging Viliam Shirokin and other members of the Czechoslovak delegation. The pioneers giving flowers to the delegation, comrade M. Shehu welcoming the delegation , and Viliam Shiroki thanking Albanian leaders for the warm welcome. The delegation made its first visit to the Presidium of the People’s Assembly, then to the Council of Ministers and to the Central Committee of the Labour Party of Albanian. Liri Belishova attending the event. The delegation lays wreaths on the graves of the martyrs. Talks begin at the headquarters of the Council of Ministers. The delegation visits different cities of Albania, such as Vlora and Korce, where a large rally was held. Comrades Mehmet Shehu and Viliam Shiroki spoke at the rally. The joint statement is signed by Mehmet Shehu for the Albanian side and William Shiroki for the Czechoslovak side at the Palace of Brigades. Assisted by Beqir Balluku and Adil Carcani. The Presidium of the People’s Assembly decorates the members of the delegation with high orders. Before the departure of the delegation to the homeland, a large rally is organized in Tirana, attended by thousands of residents of the capital. The next day, the delegation returns to its homeland, at the airport it is escorted by the leaders of the Party and the state, as well as by ordinary people.
