Synopsis | Documentary begins with views of hills and a tombstone. Partisan songs remind of glorious epic of the war. Bize covered with white flowers. The peace of this place is disturbed by mines. It rains, workers breaking rocks, tearing up the roofs, opening drains because this place has wetlands. Soldiers do not stop working even when it snows. Spring begins, water flows freely. The tractor opens the ready-made fields. Some soldiers collect the manure accumulated among the stones. Workers while singing plant together with the soldiers, the officers also plant (248.60). Soldiers’ umbrella can be seen IN the middle of the forest. In addition to work, they also shoot. The wall newspaper with photos is being prepared. Fields planted with potatoes; the plant is pruned. The graduates of the capital give a hand to the army. Different varieties of potatoes have been planted at the experimental centre of Bize. It’s time to peel the potatoes.
