Directed by filmmaker Piro Milkani, this black and white drama tells the story of two railroad volunteers who fall in love but are confronted by the ancient codes and customs of the isolated Albanian highlands. The film is based on a novel by the Albanian Nobel-nominated writer Ismail Kadare titled ‘A Wedding’. |
