| Description | The 8th Albanian Feature Film Festival was held in the hall of the Palace of Culture in Tirana, from April 18, 1989 to April 22, 1989. People are seen entering the hall where the ceremony of the eighth festival is taking place. Among those visible are actors Vangjush Furxhi, Tinka Kurti, Minella Borova, and screenwriter Vath Koreshi. On stage, Viktor Gjika, director of Kinostudio, speaks. Shots from the audience show Kreshnik Hashorva, Sulejman Pitarka, Kristaq Dhamo, and others. Piro Milkani speaks at the microphone. On stage are Tinka Kurti, Teodor Laço, and Vladimir Prifti for the film “Butterfly in My Cabin.” In the audience are Agim Fortuzi, Faruk Basha, Viktor Gjika, and Esat Musliu. Tinka Kurti takes the floor. Seen listening in the hall are Mevlan Shanaj, Saimir Kumbaro, Violeta Manushi, Saim Kokona, Xhevat Behri, and Dritëro Agolli. On stage with Piro Milkani are Kujtim Çashku and Ilia Xhokaxhiu. During a break, in the lobby of the Palace of Culture, Pandi Raidhi speaks with Tinka Kurti. Also conversing are Pavlina Mani, Liza Laska, Roza Anagnosti, and Bledar Xhani. Among others present are Ilia Terpini, Saimir Kumbaro, Piro Mani, Hajrie Rondo, and Ibrahim Muçaj. In the hall where the symposium is being held, we can distinguish Albert Minga, Anisa Markarian, Todi Bozo, Ardit Gjebrea, and Viktor Zhusti. Kristaq Dhamo speaks. Viktor Gjika and Dhimitër Anagnosti are visible. The festival secretariat includes Marieta Kotani, Manushaqe Halili, and others. The festival jury includes Viktor Gjika, Vath Koreshi, and others. Piro Milkani, Ibrahim Muçaj, and Kujtim Gjonaj are seen. Lazer Filipi speaks, followed by Teodor Laço. There is a meeting between the leaders of Kinostudio and Nexhmije Hoxha and Manush Myftiu. Nexhmije Hoxha speaks with Kristaq Dhamo. They then leave and go to the hall where the festival awards ceremony takes place. Piro Milkani receives the award for the film “Spring Didn’t Come Alone.” Actress Anisa Markarian also receives an award; she becomes emotional and embraces the moderator, Saimir Kumbaro. Awards are also given to actors and to composer Ardit Gjebrea. Actress Matilda Makoçi speaks as she presents the award to actor Ndriçim Xhepa for the film “Flutura in My Cabin.” Tinka Kurti speaks as she presents awards to actress Luiza Xhuvani and the young actor Bledar Xhani for the film “Flutura in My Cabin”. The winners are congratulated and take photographs with Nexhmije Hoxha and others. |
