| Synopsis | Exterior view of the Fierza tunnel. A vehicle driving through the tunnel. Electricians at work. Welders working inside the tunnel. Two miners place explosives. The brigade leader Dali Lika checks before the blasts. Miners exit the tunnel. They wait for the explosions. After the blasts, water bursts out. Ruzhdi Bazhdari speaks with the brigade leader. Electricians Osman Nrdeu, Fran Pali, Pashuk Luku, and Ruzhdi Bazhdari at work, then returning home, one of them meets his children. Inside the tunnel there is no light. They notify the electricians’ brigade leader. He wakes his comrades from sleep and the four of them set out to find the fault. The electricians walk on. They pass through rocky terrain. They check the electrical wires. The miners remain inside the tunnel without light. The tunnel entrances and idle machinery are shown. Steep cliffs along the electricians’ route. A goat stands on the rock face. They climb poles and inspect different landscapes. A broken wire, rushing water—Ruzhdi ties a rope and enters the water. His comrades arrive and help him. They repair the line. Lights come back on in the tunnel. The machinery resumes work. The electricians return toward the tunnel, crossing a bridge. The construction site and the tunnel are visible. |
