| Synopsis | The library of the State University of Tirana. Cuban students visit the library to study in the field of agriculture. Among them is the student Rafael Brunati, who is writing a letter to his Cuban friend. He writes about the moment he landed in Durres, the journey to Tirana and everything he visited in Albania. All of these are accompanied by film footage from various student visits. Students visiting the laboratory, the factories, they see the irrigation canals at the cotton ginning factory, the “Stalin” textile factory and the “Enver” hydropower plant. Visiting the exhibition of Cuban engravings, photos of a Cuban photographer, Cuban films. The student writes to his friend about the reception that took place on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the declaration of national independence. A conference was organized in the popular theatre on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the Cuban revolution. “We are witnessing the love of the Albanian people” says Rafael. “We witness the protest that the Albanian people organized against the imperialists on behalf of the people of Cuba”. People gathered with the slogan “Cuba yes, Janki no” in a big rally in Tirana. Rafael writes to his Cuban friend that Albania has a friendly, brave, loving and loyal people. |
