| Synopsis | Based on the novelette “The broken April” by Ismail Kadare. April 1939 it’s a honeymoon month and at the same times a tragic month for the writer Besian Vorpsi and his wife. Such is also this month for Gjorg Berisha who wanders in the highlands “enjoying” his last days of freedom. According to the canon, he has one month of free life before he shuts himself in his tower. His life is risked for having taken avenge for his brother’s death. |
