| Synopsis | The streets of Tirana are decorated for the occasion of the 6th Congress of Trade Unions. On the eve of the Congress, factories, departments and new production lines were inaugurated. Mehmet Shehu cuts the ribbon of a new vehicle repair department. Comrades Beqir Balluku, A. Kellezi visit the department. The “Tirana” plant is inaugurated, the ribbon is cut by comrade Adil Carcani. Visiting the department of dolls, lampshades, etc. Comrades Koco Theodhosi, A. Kellezi, etc. attend the ceremony. A new printing press is inaugurated. Comrade Thoma Deljana cuts the inauguration ribbon, assisted by comrades A. Kellezi, Spiro Koleka. The labels of the products of the “Ali Kelmendi” Food Factory , plates, calendars, and postcards, etc will be printed at this printing house. Comrades Sotir Kamberi, Tonin Jakova, etc., are at the airport to welcome the foreign delegations that will come to participate in the Congress. The delegates of the Pan-Chinese Federation of Trade Unions of China, headed by Comrade Zhao Guo Cian, are warmly welcomed. The delegations from the Republic of Vietnam, Korea, South Vietnam, friends from the Pan African Union, New Zealand, Ecuador, Belgium, Sudan, Ceylon, France, Italy, Brazil, Austria, and representatives of the working class from Algeria, Guinea, Somalia, Angola, Spain, Austria, Venezuela, Holland, Portugal will participate in the Congress. Comrade Gogo Nushi welcomes representatives of trade unions from foreign countries. The Fifth Congress of Professional Unions opened on April 24, 1967. The leaders of the Party and the state, led by Comrade Enver Hoxha, are in the stands. Gogo Nushi declares the congress open. Comrade Tonin Jakova reports. Comrade Hysni Kapo welcomes the congress. Comrade Zhao Guo Cian, a member of the secretariat of the Pakistan Federation of Trade Unions, comes to the podium to welcome the Congress. Afterwards, Zhao Guo Qian handed over to the VI Congress a red flag with the inscription: “May the revolutionary unity and common friendship between the workers and peoples of China and Albania live on for centuries”. The young volunteers of the Rrogozhine – Fier railway welcome the Congress. The chairman of the delegation of the federation of trade unionists of Vietnam, the chairmen of the delegations of Korea and Romania are in the stands. The envoy of South Vietnam was received with enthusiastic applause. The pioneers greet the Congress and give flowers to the leaders. At the end of the Congress, the delegates were warmly greeted by Enver Hoxha. |
